Security update for Joomla 3.7

The Joomla project has announced that a security update will be posted on the 17th May at around 1400 UTC, which should be applied promptly to ensure ongoing security of websites.  Read more here.

If you have a test environment, you can check the 3.7.1 release candidate (which does not include the security patch) prior to the launch by checking out the releases on Github https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/releases or setting your release stability level to 'Release Candidate' - note we do not recommend this for a live website, only for test and development environments.

Clients with support retainers will be updated as usual, those with ad-hoc agreements will be contacted shortly to discuss updating their sites.
