Attending last year’s Awards event was enjoyable and the calibre of women nominated for Awards was impressive, to say the least. We seized this great opportunity to network with women and men from the technology sector. New contacts were made and some collaborations too. What became very clear is that women in tech are a force to behold, and that’s an exciting group to be part of and endorsing!
Nominations are open already for The DevelopHer Awards. There are various categories (including a few new ones), so don’t hesitate to nominate women that you know who are doing impressive work in the technology sector in East Anglia. This includes those who work tirelessly behind the scenes (i.e. there’s an “Unsung Hero” category!).
So these Awards are not only for coders, web developers and “techies”. You could nominate a woman who runs her own successful online/technology business; or a woman in tech who has influenced you, perhaps someone who’s enabled or inspired you to develop your own online business. Or you could flag up “one to watch” and nominate a great Apprentice in the industry.

We couldn’t let this moment go by without acknowledging all the women in our own team who have worked so hard to improve our company. Together, they’ve helped to deliver outstanding projects and service to our clients. Thank you, team!
