JoomlaDagen 2013 a huge success!

I have just returned from JoomlaDagen 2013 - having attended several Joomla!Day events in the UK and helped to run the last two, it was lovely to be invited to speak at another country's Joomla!Day event.  What a wonderful weekend I have had!  Such a vibrant and inspiring event which was so well planned that it ran like clockwork, everybody knew where they needed to be, and the most important factors (coffee, beer and food!) were well catered for, even for pesky vegetarians like me!

My talk was on the Sunday, which was just as well because I was chatting in the bar until around 4am on Saturday morning, so was rather sleepy for most of the first day!  I attended several sessions including one by Angie Radtke on Accessibility which I found very interesting, due to the fact that this fits quite well with the world of Microdata and semantic markup.

The keynotes were, as to be expected, top notch - although I couldn't follow the words when they were in Dutch, the slides were enough.  We were even treated to the Joomla! Blues!

The quality of the presentations was great, and it was really lovely to feel so welcomed to the country and the Joomla! community - so a big thank you to everybody who contributed, organised, attended and was involved in the event. I'll definitely be back!
