Our quote will mean you can gain an overview of the work we need to do. We will flag any dependencies or key issues which need to be addressed as well as giving you expected timelines. And, if that’s not enough, we will also give you an indication of scheduling windows for your particular project.
The quote itself
When the team at Virya Group prepares a quote, we try to reflect what we have understood your requirements to be from the project brief. The results of our pre-project investigations will, of course, be included (sometimes as an attachment or linked file, if appropriate).
The different aspects of your project will be explored, as will our understanding of your requirements and, more importantly, we will list anything which is explicitly excluded. Sometimes, this is as important as the things you have asked us to do and helps to ensure everyone is clear about the project scope.
All our documents are sent out through an online system, which makes it super easy to view, share with your team, and send to the relevant person for approval.
If you have a complicated sign-off process, don’t worry - just let us know who has to sign off and in what order, and we'll do the rest.
Timelines and scheduling
We operate a pretty 'tight ship' at Virya Group and, when we quote for a project, we do so with specific time slots in mind, bearing in mind when the resources for your project are available.
Our quote will always explicitly state the scheduling expectations for starting your project and, once you have accepted it, we will schedule our resources to your project during those timescales.
We also state the expected meeting dates, sign-off dates and important phases of the project in the quote, so that it is clear from day one what we expect from you, and what you can expect from us.
All projects (including dana projects) require a non-negotiable 50% deposit on quote acceptance. The remainder of the balance is distributed at key intervals during the project, generally at the end of each two-week sprint or at the end of each month for longer projects.
All balances must be paid in full - including change requests - before projects are launched.
We have a super-simple invoicing system which allows you to pay via credit or debit card, bank transfer, or via Transferwise if you are outside the UK (which saves a large amount over international bank fees).
